This guy would have gone after him with a butcher knife if he didn't have the gun. That said I don't think the stand your ground defense applies in this case or the zimmerman case. The idea of stand your ground is that if someone threatens you and you can defend yourself you can use force against force. In both of these cases there was no real threat to the homeowner. The homeowners were just crazy f-ers.
