Apparently it may be cheaper to simply add racedeck than it would be to pour a new concrete floor!! I read that race crews routinely lay down racedeck over gravel, asphalt and even grass and it works pretty well. I'd have to do some work getting the floor nice and level and even first, however. Supposedly there's a fine crushed gravel mixture that you can add to existing gravel to firm it up by adding water and compressing it with some sort of machine.
