In the top 9th with 2 outs, tying run on third. Routine game-ending grounder to third from Escobar. But A-Rod throws high to Teixeira and the catch is made with nothing but the tip of the cleat touching the bag. Last night the Yankees seemed more lucky than good.

Tonight we see a guy just up from the minors against Pettitte. I really want to see the Royals take this series.
