Mr. Spork paid knowledgeworkers to transmit: IMHO, there's practically no way he's going to get off. The evidence is stacked against him. Even with my most objective glasses on I see a few major flaws in his case that'll preclude any successful defense of this. Truly, Zimmerman's only hope was to avoid being prosecuted altogether. Again, my opinion. Following onto that, if the prosecution does indeed fail, it won't be for a lack of guilt on his part or a lack of evidence, etc. it'll be a political decision intended to protect a criminal.
I won't advocate it, but there's a big divide between vigilante justice against a murderer who gets off because of his daddy's position or his conviction's possible effect on the laws of varying states and vigilante *in*justice where a law abiding citizen is murdered for, at worst, mouthing off and trying to defend himself against an armed cantbeacop on a power trip.

"I've been everything politically. A Communist, a Smallholder, you name it. I don't think in those terms any more. So I'm shooting the bastards and trying to defend the decent people. We're likelier to get somewhere that way." Jozsef Dudas
