...he's not putting the troops down at all. In fact, he's not even talking about them tangentially. The speech as I read it was all about Bush's inability to read a situation, and *him* being stuck in Iraq. I'm not saying Kerry's not a douchebag, or that he shouldn't be cognizant of our moronic soundbite culture, but this was not a remark about the troops.

And if this is all the White House has got at midterms, they're fucked-er than I thought.
